Polyurea Coated Wood

If it's wood we can coat it, so anything you construct out of wood and want protected forever is not a problem. Treated wood is the traditional answer for wood that will be in the ground or outdoors and exposed to the elements. Unfortunately, treated wood will work, but has an unappealing green hue and unfinished look. For your projects that require significant protection and a sharp, attractive finish, our polyurea spray on coating is the solution. The coating is extremely solid providing superior protection against bugs or termite damage. Our coating will not allow wood rot because it is 100% waterproof and will keep its original gloss and shine because of our ArmorGloss UV stabilizing topcoat.

Our shop signpost is a great example. We constructed the post and cross member out of pine then filled any seams. After sanding all surfaces smooth we sprayed our coating and then applied the UV stabilizing topcoat. The sign has been in direct sunlight everyday and through harsh conditions without ever showing any indication of fading or weathering.

Commercial Applications:

Polyurea is used in hundreds of commercial applications around the world today. In fact, before it was ever available to the consumer for truck beds, garage floors or trailers, it was strictly an industrial coating.

Here is a list of a few of the many applications that benefit from a polyurea spray-on coating.

  1. Containment (fuel, oil, chemicals)
  2. Warehouses (loading ramps, walk ways)
  3. Marine (boat decks, cargo holds)
  4. Restuarants (kitchen floors that may become slippery when wet)
  5. Foundation on any construction project
  6. Concrete, Metal or Wood surfaces
  7. Roofing on industrial buildings
  8. Shop floors
